The Get Real Campaign is a 12 month-long campaign designed to reward you for engaging with the peaq network and peaqosystem. It aims to drive adoption, reward peaq’s early supporters, and highlight the incredible real-world applications of peaq’s technology and the DePINs built on it.
By completing quests, you'll unlock experience points (XP) and NFT points (NP) to redeem a wide range of rewards (including PEAQ tokens).
The Get Real Campaign is a multi-season campaign set to run for at least 12 months. The start and end dates for each Season will be announced before they begin. Season 1 started on February 5th, and will end on February 28th. Stay updated on key milestones and events by joining the Get Real Discord Channel today.
The Get Real Campaign kicked off with a successful Preseason on Galxe, on November 6th, 2024, and now continues with Season 1 on the peaq portal. Each Season brings a fresh set of quests split across five categories: Social, Learning, DePIN, DeFi, and Special.
Rewards are distributed monthly, with opportunities to redeem based on your performance and leaderboard position. This dynamic structure keeps the Campaign exciting, engaging, and rewarding for all active participants.
Anyone aged 18 or older is welcome to join the Get Real Campaign, though some geographical restrictions may apply. For full details on eligibility and restrictions, please refer to our Token Terms.
You can begin participating immediately. To get started, simply create your account on the peaq portal, complete the quick onboarding process, and choose your peaqonaut character. Important: Make sure to use the same email address as with your Get Real account when setting up your profile with DePINs on peaq to ensure traceability of your quests and progress. If you already have an account with any of the participating DePINs, please make sure to use the same email address when setting up your campaign account on peaq portal.
Over the course of the Campaign, a reward pool of 5% of the initial PEAQ token supply will be distributed. Your monthly performance, leaderboard position, and quest completions determine if and how much you can redeem.
Stay active and level up your journey with unique peaqonaut NFTs, which you can customize with NFTwearables. Plus, look forward to exclusive rewards including DePIN hardware devices and limited edition merch drops spread across the 12 Seasons. And there are also exclusive physical rewards along the way.
Rewards are distributed between eligible campaign participants after each Season. Reward recipients will receive further guidance regarding hardware and merchandise distribution details.
Choose from 4 unique peaqonauts — dynamic NFTs that evolve as you progress through the Campaign, just like in some of your favourite videogames.
Complete quests to unlock wearables, industry upgrades, performance items, and special access badges. Your peaqonaut changes with every milestone, reflecting your achievements and showcasing your journey in the campaign.
Through the peaqonaut editor — an interface where you can customize your peaqonaut by equipping and unequipping items during the campaign. All changes are recorded onchain and require a wallet signature. You unlock NFT points (NP) by completing quests, which unlock new items at different levels (500 NP, 1000 NP, etc.). The more quests you complete, the more items you can unlock and equip.
While peaqonauts can technically be traded peer-to-peer or through marketplaces, no dedicated trading infrastructure will be provided. Please note: NFTs distributed in this campaign are intended solely for entertainment purposes and should not be considered investments.
You can claim one peaqonaut per account. There is no limit on total supply during the campaign.
Yes, the NFT is yours forever.
You can claim your peaqonaut in two ways: during initial onboarding, or anytime after account creation through the platform. Both require signing a transaction. Once claimed, you can access the peaqonaut editor to customize and begin upgrading your unique character.
XP (Experience Points) and NP (NFT Points) work together as your campaign reward systems.
XP is unlocked through completing quests and determines your position on the leaderboard and eligibility for token rewards, special prizes such as limited edition merchandise, and exclusive hardware devices.
Meanwhile, NP are unlocked alongside XP and can be tracked on your profile page. Reach specific NP milestones (ie. 500 NP, 1000 NP) to unlock new customization items for your peaqonaut.
You can track your XP and NP directly on your campaign dashboard. The dashboard displays your current XP total, leaderboard position, and NP. Once you reach certain NP milestones, your new peaqonaut customization items will automatically be unlocked.
Yes, you unlock both XP and NP points when completing quests. Each quest clearly shows your potential rewards.
In rare cases, some quests may award an exclusive NFT directly instead of NP points, alongside your usual XP reward.
Yes, there is a leaderboard in the Campaign portal that updates regularly throughout the day based on the XP redeemed by all campaign participants.
New quests are released each Season. When a Season launches, you'll see all available quests, with Social quests updating weekly. Limited-time quests may also appear randomly, lasting from one to several days.
You can track all your quest activity through the quest screen, which provides a complete overview of both available and completed quests. The interface automatically moves completed quests to the bottom for easy reference, with filter options to help you sort through different quest types. Your XP updates instantly whenever you claim a completed quest.
Yes, preseason participation gives you a head start in Season 1 (first month of the main campaign). All XP unlocked during the preseason receives a 50% boost — for example, if you unlock 1,000 XP in Preseason, you'll begin Season 1 with 1,500 XP.
Important: Please use the same EVM wallet address when signing up to the campaign portal to ensure your preseason XP transfers correctly.
The Campaign offers a variety of exciting quests across five categories:
- Learning: Complete educational modules to deepen your understanding and knowledge of the peaqosystem.
- Social: Engage with the community and spread the word about the peaqosystem.
- DePIN: Create real-world value by interacting with real-world applications built on peaq.
- DeFi: Participate in DeFi activities within the peaqosystem.
- Special: Take on unique events and challenges.
Every quest you complete unlocks XP, bringing you closer to exclusive rewards. Dive in, level up, and make the most of the journey.
Quest rewards are balanced across DePINs, with similar activities unlocking equal XP. For instance, a basic task on one DePIN will reward the same XP as the equivalent task on another DePIN, ensuring consistent rewards for comparable efforts.
XP weighting in the Main Campaign is slightly different to the preseason, tailored to ensure the campaign is as fair as possible for both the earliest adopters and the newest community members. If you are a preseason participant, any changes, where applicable, will be automatically reflected in your balance — no action is required from you.
